Dylan Dixon and his brother Drew grew up together, but somehow Dylan always felt inferior.

Grandpa and Grandma Dixon, Drew, and Sumer Youngblood, his best friend since the third grade, were the constants in his life. 
After serving time in jail, Dylan was determined to stay straight in hopes that maybe he and Sumer would be married. He knew it was a long shot; Sumer had made it clear they would never be more than best friends.
